What is the award?
A Gold Medal worth Rs. 50,000 to Maheshwari Scholars & a Gold Medal worth Rs. 25,000 to Promising Maheshwari Scholars and a Citation.
Who is eligible?
Maheshwari students who have completed or are likely to complete their graduation, post graduation or PhD from a renowned University / Institute between 1st October 2018 & 30th September 2019 and have exceptional academic achievements.
Maheshwari candidates, who have qualified Civil Services (UPSC) examinations & have been selected for appointment, between 1st October 2018 & 30th September 2019.
How are awardees selected?
The scholars are supposed to have consistently outstanding academic credentials & are selected through a rigorous selection process carried out by an eminent jury.
The selection is highly competitive. Applicants are advised to have a look at the profile of awardees in the past.
