Hailing from Belgavi, Karnataka, Anish Ajay Bang graduated with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2023, securing a CGPA of 9.08 and ranking in the top 10 percentile of his batch. He excelled in competitive exams, achieving AIR 2357 in JEE Advanced (Top 1.2%), AIR 6457 in JEE Mains, and clearing CFA Level 1 with 90+ percentile.

An accomplished athlete, Anish received the Institute Sports Color and served as Vice Captain of the IITB Inter-IIT Cricket Team, earning accolades in cricket, squash, and dance. He also held key leadership roles, including Institute Sports Secretary, and organized major events like Aavhan Sports Fest while mentoring juniors as part of the Student Mentorship Program.

Currently, Anish works as an Associate Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), having secured a pre-placement offer for his outstanding internship performance.
